Today, Dada Sports Africa x GOMYCODE Kenya officially announces the winner of the Be A Dada Scholarship Program.

At Dada Sports Africa, we believe that empowering women in sports goes beyond the game itself. It is about creating opportunities that allow female athletes to grow, lead, and build meaningful futures both during and after their sporting careers.

Winnie, a dedicated cyclist and passionate athlete, has earned a place in the GOMYCODE Kenya Data Science Bootcamp through our partnership to equip female athletes with practical digital and technological skills. As part of this exciting journey, Winnie also joins the Be A Dada family as an official Dada Elite Brand Ambassador.

Her selection represents more than a scholarship opportunity. It reflects the vision behind our partnership with GOMYCODE Kenya – creating pathways for women in sports to access education, mentorship, and career development opportunities to help them be elite.

Dada Sports Africa dedicates itself to opening doors for female athletes by linking sports, education, and personal development. Through fully and partially funded scholarships, mentorship, and the Dada Elite Program (Be A Dada), we continue to build a supportive ecosystem where women and girls in sports can thrive on and off the field.

Winnie Mashan’s journey is a reminder that female athletes can excel in multiple spaces. From cycling to data science, she embodies what it means to be Dada Elite – fearless, ambitious, and ready to push boundaries.
We congratulate Winnie on this incredible achievement and look forward to supporting her as she begins this new chapter.

This is what opportunity looks like.
This is what it means to Be A Dada.
